The town of Pincourt has posted a $2.5 million surplus for the year 2011, according to the financial report deposited by the city last month. That compares to a $3.6 million surplus from the previous year.
The report showed the town didn’t earn as much revenue as it had predicted, but it also had fewer expenses than budgeted.
The town is in the process of preparing its next budget, which will be ready by the middle of next month.
