Organizers of Hudson’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade announced Tuesday they selected Randy Tieman as this year’s grand marshal.

Tieman is a sportscaster at CTV Montreal, and has a segment called “Randy’s Rookies” where he highlights the achievements of amateur athletes. Tieman also likes to coach sports, and is an avid horseback rider. He lives in Williamstown. Ont., near Cornwall. The parade gets under way March 16 at 1 p.m. The route runs along Main Rd., from Côte St-Charles to Cameron St.
