Hydro Quebec says it  cut power to 590 homes in  the Du Moulin sector of Notre Dame de l’Île Perrot to perform an emergency repair on a hydro pole Friday moring, about 10:45.

But by noon, most of those homes had their power restored, said Hélène Perrault, a spokesperson for the utility.

At 2:30, there were still about 40 homes that were without power, but Perrault said she expected that power would be back up very shortly.
