A dispute between business partners is at the heart of the closing of the Esso station on Côte St-Charles.
Darrell Mooney, a spokesperson for MacEwen Petroleum Inc., which supplies gas to the service station, said the owner of the Esso is currently in a dispute with his landlord over the rent he was charging. The landlord is also a business partner in the gas station venture.
He said the owner has decided to close his shop until the dispute is settled.
“We’re hoping that station will reopen within a month,” Mooney said.
